Education Style: Classroom vs Online Classes

Which is a better education system – A modern-day Online class or a Traditional Classroom study? Let us understand the difference between the two. A classroom study is an education system that demands the physical presence of a teacher and a group of students being educated on the desired topic, confined within the walls of an educational institution or a body. Whereas, an online classroom is a simulated classroom where teachers and students are connected virtually via the internet with the help of an electronic device such as a mobile, laptop, or tablet. This article will briefly explain the pros and cons of both education systems.
The classroom Bangalore Education System has been followed throughout the world for many centuries. Since the education industry runs on a service-based model, a physical environment or evidence becomes mandatory to accomplish the process of education. On the other hand, online classes create a virtual environment where all students can ask doubts, share their ideas, discuss among groups and even submit their homework or assignments within a few clicks.
In India, a school or a college is considered to be the second place of worship. Indian parents send their children to schools in order to instill values within them. The continuous routine of the school helps children to become punctual and learn the art of time management. Unfortunately, sitting in front of the computer for long hours contrasts their educational viewpoints. They often relate electronic devices with computer games.
Let us understand the education system from a teacher’s perspective. The life of a teacher is no better than a hamster wheel. It keeps moving at a steady pace in a circular motion, every day and night. Plus, a majority of teachers are parents themselves. This means they have to first send their children to school or colleges, get dressed and then go to work early morning. Their hectic routine becomes simpler and hours of travel time is saved with the help of online classes.
How many times have our teachers asked us, “Am I audible?”. This question is being repeatedly asked more than 4-5 times at every lecture or class. While during online classes, teachers have to ask this question only once before the commencement of an online class. In addition, they don’t have to shout or raise their voices for the backbenchers since everyone is in the front row during an online class.
In many remote places in India, internet bandwidth is not supported by any of the network providers. And in urban areas, the frequent current fluctuations are very normal. Luckily, a classroom study can be conducted without any support of electricity or internet connectivity. But who would like to send their beloved children to schools or colleges in this current pandemic scenario?
Due to the outbreak of the Covid19 pandemic situation, the entire education system in India has taken a huge technological turn from traditional classroom study to online classes. In any case, saving the lives of future generations is much more important than imparting education to students.
Bangalore Group of Institutions is one such institute that resorted to online classes to educate its students. Regular online classes are being conducted on Zoom for nursing, pharmacy, engineering, and medicine courses. Visit www.bgiedu.in or call 080 – 24885950 for more information.
