MASTER OF SCIENCE IN NURSING (M.Sc. Nursing)
M.Sc in Nursing is a two-year programme at Bangalore Group of Institutions. The University examinations are held annually. Teaching is incorporated with clinical experience in respective specialities. The students are required to submit a dissertation as a practical fulfilment of the programme. Students are given the experience of organizing a workshop and conference with the support of faculty. Students can take speciality as:
- Obstetric and Gynecologic Nursing
- Child Health (Pediatric) Nursing
- Community Health Nursing
Passed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing from any University. Minimum 1-year work experience in a hospital or nursing educational institution after obtaining B.Sc. Nursing for candidates with post-basic B.Sc. in nursing degree. The student must be registered with the state nursing council as a registered nurse/midwife.
